Signal Band

Licence terms

Licence terms

Last updated 12 October 2026. These terms apply to purchases made on signalband.net, including through the API or by an agent acting for you. The seller is Andrew Birrell, trading as Signal Band (ABN 26 810 393 148), Sydney, Australia.

Who is buying

The person or organisation that pays is the licensee. If an AI agent or software creates a purchase link for you, you are still the buyer once you approve and pay, and you are responsible for how your API keys are used.

What you get

What you may not do

Decision support, not advice

Engine results are indicative ranges based on the inputs you supply. They are not financial, legal, investment or security advice, and they do not replace your own judgement or professional advice. The same applies to the written interpretation in a Practitioner Review.

Self-serve means no support

Self-serve purchases include documentation but no implementation, configuration or technical support. Practitioner services are sold separately.

Billing, cancelling and refunds

Prices are in USD. Subscriptions renew each quarter or year until cancelled; cancelling stops future renewals and access ends at the end of the paid period. Plan credits reset each billing period and do not carry over; top-up credits expire 12 months after your most recent top-up. A 30-day Decision Sprint is a one-off payment: it ends after 30 days and nothing renews. Because digital products are delivered immediately, purchases are not refundable except where the law requires, including your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes and availability

Engines and products are versioned and may improve over time; each result records the version used. We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Signal Band's total liability for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it in the previous 12 months, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
